Full review
Series six is the final series of the wonder that is Sex and the City! I am devastated that it has to end but what an ending! This last series is one of the most exciting series yet.
We see Carrie go through several men Jack Berger who I think was wrong for her from the start, also a writer Berger couldn't handle the competition when Carrie's book was doing so well. Then of course Aleksandr Petrovsky whisks her of her feet with good old-fashioned romance. Aleksandr was an interesting choice for Carrie (Who obviously has a thing for older men) a wealthy Russian artist they couldn't be more different but their was something about him that she liked. We all knew it was never going to last when he took her of to France to live, Carrie is a true Manhattan girl who is love with her City, as fabulous as she was in Paris her style will always be New York. Of course we couldn't get through a whole series without the return of Mr Big Carrie's returning true love.
Miranda has some fun in this series when she gets together with a sexy Doctor that moves into her building, Doctor Robert, he does a little more than tend to her chicken pox, much to Steve's horror when he catches them at it. But deep down Miranda and Steve love each other and eventually they decide to settle down and get married (But not in an icky way).
Charlotte and Harry have their ups and downs in this series as well, first they were together then they weren't, then they are and they get married but it the wedding day is less than perfect. We then watch them struggle to get pregnant and in a heart-wrenching episode find out that Charlotte has suffered a miscarriage (I cried watching this episode so have the tissues handy). In then they decide in adoption now all they have to do is wait.
Samantha has a lot to deal with in this series, first of all she realises that she has real feeling for the gorgeous young Smith. He is the best thing that has ever happened to Samantha and she is one lucky lady because he is so sexy. But wit the good comes the bad and Samantha is diagnosed with breast cancer, the episode when she finds out and tells the girls her news is also very sad (More tissues needed). Like a real trooper Samantha remains as fabulous as ever sporting different styles of wig (even an afro) that match her outfits.
This series has some really great moments both happy and sad and it ties up lose ends nicely, I am sad that it had to end but I think they stopped at the right time, sometimes things can be over done and story lines stretched to far but this series was just perfect in every way. I also like the fact that none of the storylines were that obvious. It would have been easy to give charlotte a baby because she was the person who wanted one, but instead they gave a baby to Miranda the highflying lawyer whose career is her life.
Samantha has always been very happy with her body even posing naked for her own personal photographs so for her to find out that she has breast cancer is a real shocker. The same with Carrie why move her out of Manhattan to Paris, she is New York City.

Disc One

Episode One: To Market to Market

To start the series off Carrie is asked to ring the bell stack exchange now that she is a mini celebrity. She is doing well with her work but not so well with her love life, it's takes bumping into Aiden her old love holding his new baby to shake Carrie into to dating writer Jack Berger.
Miranda realises that she is in love with Steve just as Steve tells her he is not in love with her anymore.
Charlotte contemplates becoming a Jew for Harry, he says he would want to bring his children up Jewish, Charlotte explains that she might not be able to have children but Harry says that just having Charlotte is more than enough.
Samantha helps a new resident settle into her building in the best way she knows how.

Episode Two: Great Sexspectations

Carrie and Berger's relationship is off to a good start until they move it into the bedroom. It is very awkward viewing watching their silent uncomfortable sex scenes. I'm sure all of us can relate to that in one-way or another (Unless we have been very lucky).
Samantha takes the girls to a new trendy restaurant called Raw, were she sets her sights on a young hot waiter and she gets him, cue some of the sauciest sex scenes Samantha's ever had.
Charlotte has decided to become a Jew and visits the Rabbi.

Episode Three: The Perfect Present

Carrie and Berger are both finding it hard to erase there past lovers, Berger's leaves a message on his machine and Carrie has phone sex with Mr Big.

Episode Four: Talk - a - little

Carrie invites Berger to meet the girls and he is a big hit, he helps Miranda understand men by explaining 'if a guy is into you he is coming up, 'if not he's just not that into you'.
Jerry tells Samantha he is in AA and they start to learn more about each other instead of hiding behind different characters.
The episode starts of well but ends wit two arguments, firstly Carrie criticizes Berger's book, and says ' if I made a mistake, I would want you to tell me' with that he looks her up and down and says 'nice hat'. Does the man no nothing he should never criticize a girls fashion.
Charlotte gets frustrated that Harry hasn't asked her to marry him yet and in a moment of rage screams, 'Do you know how lucky you are to have me? Do you know how we look? Do you know what people think when they see us together? Do you' a hurt Harry responds with ' Yeah, I know what people are thinking - I just didn't think that you were one of them'

Disc Two

Episode Five: Lights, Camera, Relationship

Jerry tells Samantha he is in a play and after watching it she decides to put her PR skills to work on making Jerry famous not because of his acting but because in the play Jerry does a full frontal - she renames him Smith Gerard.
Carrie's book is doing well and she gets a huge advance from France and splashes out on a Prada dress for herself and a Prada shirt for Jack. Jack however finds this too much t handle.
Miranda on the other hand is trying to deny she is in love with Steve and even helps him make birthday cup cakes for his new girlfriend.

Episode Six: Hop, skip and a week

Carrie and Berger's love life takes a nose dive when they take a break, we lead to believe there is hope when he returns with flowers for Carrie but he ends it on a post -it note saying ' sorry I can't, don't hate me'. A post it note, that has to me the lamest way to dump someone I can sympathise with Carrie's annoyance over this.
Smith Samantha's man has hit fame and become an Absolutes Vodka Model, now known as the Absolute Hunk.
Miranda is having trouble-leaving Brady so she cuts her hours at work, now doing 55hours a week. She really is a career girl.
Charlotte attends a singles evening at her local Jewish church she ends up meeting Harry again and they get engaged.

Episode Seven: The post it always sticks twice

Miranda is very excited because she has fitted back into her skinny jeans, and she is feeling sexy and confident.
Charlotte decides she wants to have another big wedding.

Episode Eight: The catch

This episode revolves around Charlottes wedding day, from the moment Harry sees her in her wedding dress before the wedding things start to go wrong. Charlotte thinks that her wedding is cursed but Carrie reassures her that ' The worse the wedding the better the marriage'.
Carrie is doing the trapeze for her column this week as she tries to find the perfect catch; unfortunately the night she spends with Harry's friend is less than perfect.

Disc Three

The shoes cost $485, when Carrie works out in total she has bought her friend about $2300 worth of gifts over the years she decides that her single self deserves something back and asks her friend to pay for her shoes. I have to say I am not sure that I would expect someone to pay for my shoes if the went missing.
Charlotte is trying to get used to Harry living with her, he keeps leaving teabags around the house and also has a thing about walking around naked all the time.
Miranda is pleased when a new sexy Doctor moves into her apartment block; he helps her when she gets the chicken pox.

Episode Ten: Boy interrupted

Carrie gets a call from her high school sweetheart and decides to meet up with him, he is gorgeous and nice so they decide to give it a go until he admits that he is living in a mental hospital. Carrie's high school sweetheart is played by ex-files star David Duchovny.
Samantha bumps into a friend (Played by Geri Halliwell) who tells her about a roof top pool. Samantha determined to get in uses someone's card not realising that they are English. Geri's performance is awful she really can't act at all.
Anthony Charlotte's gay best friend informs her that Marcus, Stanford's boyfriend used to be a rent boy. Stanford finds out and finishes with Marcus right before their Gay, Bi and Lesbian prom so Stanford takes his best friend Carrie instead.
Miranda and Doctor Robert get in on and Miranda gets some very sexy sex scenes.

Episode Eleven: The Domino Effect

When Big leaves hospital Carrie goes to look after him, he opens his heart to her and says 'What are we doing life's to short' the next day he is back to himself again
