Advantages: Cheap and entertaining
Disadvantages: Poor plot and acting

...Ignore the plot, ignore the acting, this film has awesome stunts and insane martial arts fight sequences. If you love martial arts films or are a big Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and Jet Li fan then you will love this. Its a big step forward from the previous film Ong-bak. Memorable moments include the one take 4 minute fight scene and the Thai boxing v Capoeira and Kung fu in a burning temple masterpiece. As before there is no wire work or CGI its all Tony Jaa talent ! This is nothing like the Crouching Tiger type arty Kung fu films but if you see this film for what it is, a budget, popcorn, action movie with crazy stunts and bone breaking martial arts then you won't be dissapointed.... ...A sci fi Kung Fu film?? It could work.... And it did. With one of the best story lines ever and a field full of well known actors, the Matrix was sure to be a hit. It was, a big hit, a VERY big hit. And even more so with me. Unfortunately the actors had to train alot and even Keanu doesnt have the skills of the nation but they do very well alongside Laurence Fishbourne. The squel will include Jet Li, the master of Kung Fu and wires which will make this film infinitely better.... Read review
