DVD Description
Fetching Sara Moore (Elizabeth Hurley) thinks that she is a happily married woman until process server Joe Tyler (Matthew Perry) shows up at her Manhattan apartment to serve her with divorce papers. Sara gives Joe a run for his money, fleeing to the Estee Lauder Salon (a nice touch for those who know Hurley as the company's representative) and dodging him all around New York City. Realizing that she stands to lose everything in the divorce to her Texan cattle-rancher husband (Bruce Campbell) if she is served first, Sara hires Joe to turn the tables and serve her husband first. As the two leave New York for Texas in pursuit of Gordon, they engage in luggage carousel hijinx, have a run-in with a bull, and find themselves at a Monster Truck rally, among other places. Of course, true love is always just around the corner as Sara and Joe spend more time together in pursuit of saving her millions. Vincent Pastore plays Joe's foil, Tony, who has been sabotaging Joe's work for months in order to impress the boss (Cedric "The Entertainer" Kyles) and become the company's star process server.
Advantages: great dancing Disadvantages: not a carry on from the 1st film
...After a long wait and being a fan if the first film and soundtrack, it was a film that I definitely had to see and I can say that it is not a match on the first film. It continues the story of Sara, although originally played by Julia Stiles, Sara is now played by Izabella Miko. Also in the last film Sara boyfriend is Derek who is not in this sequel. So I do not really think this is a sequel, more like a film that has carried on the storyline, but has put in new faces in it, which I personally do not think has worked too well.
Continuing the story of the original film where Sara follows her dream and becomes a student at Juilliard, where Sara manages to become a star pupil of whom her dance teachers has great ideas for her. Unfortunately Sara becomes torn between her love for ballet and her passion for the urban dance.

Advantages: Lavish sets, a true fantasy fairytale, Tim Curry as good as ever. Disadvantages: May scare young children.
...of scaring them. Unknown by Jack and Lili, they were followed by goblins serving the Lord Of Darkness. Succeeding in poisoning one unicorn and removing its horn, (the unicorns source of power), the goblins start a chain of events which could lead to the end of the world.
OPINION OF THE FILM
Directed by Ridley Scott, the film has wonderfully constructed sets which look realistic and make this fantasy atmospheric and true to its genre. The enchanted forest is colourful and vibrant with life, with scores of birds, butterflies, deer, rabbits, etc wandering the set. In contrast, the underworld labyrinth which is home to the Lord Of Darkness is dark and sinister.
Tom Cruise and Mia Sara deliver decent performances, though they would never win any awards. Tim Curry steals the show as the Lord Of Darkness, (the devil character shown on the front cover...

Advantages: Very enjoyable Disadvantages: Slightly too long
..."Two Mules for Sister Sara", whilst not a truly classic western, turns out to be a most enjoyable one, even after more than one viewing.
This movie, set in revolutionary Mexico in the 19th century, is interesting for two reasons in film history:
1. It was the last time that CLINT EASTWOOD received second billing in a movie - until A PERFECT WORLD, 1993. First place went to SHIRLEY MacLAINE who, as "Sister Sara" proved once again what a great comedienne she is, even within a serious, dramatic role.
2. It was the first time that CLINT worked with director, DON SIEGEL, a partnership that was to prove both profitable (at the box office) and fruitful (for the audience).
More about this movie later, but for now, Ciao!...
