Where do I begin with this movie! I am a big fan of the Childs Play movies. For those of you that have seen Childs Play 1 - 3, you will know, that the first three movies were dark and quite frightening, as the killer doll Chucky stalks this boy as he grows up to obtain his body so he can finally live as a human again. The third sequel to the Childs play movies was called 'The Bride Of Chucky' which introduced his girlfriend Tiffany, played and voiced by actress Jennifer Tilly, who also turns into an evil doll. The film took on a humorous twist, and became more of a comedy horror.
This new movie 'Seed Of Chucky', is even more comical, with more gore than any of the previous films. Now Chucky and Tiffany find out they have a child of their own, and yes, it's a doll. But that's not all! The doll is gender confused. Chucky decides he wants the child to be a son, and try's to teach him his murderous antics, Tiffany decides she will treat her child as a daughter and try's to give her killing desire so he/she will have a better upbringing. While Chucky and Tiffany squabble over what they want their child to be, their son/daughter develops multiple personalities, being that one minute wouldn't hurt a fly, to the next being his farther double and dressing up like his mother.

When I first heard they were doing yet another one of these movies, and I heard the plot line, I thought they were going insane and really pushing it. Now after watching it, I was right, they push the boundaries so far that it actually works so well. I could not stop laughing, it was the funniest movie I have ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I am not a blood thirsty guy who finds murders funny, but once you watch it you will know what I am on about. It still has all the gore and the horror the others have, but with so much more comedy. It's much better than 'The Bride Of Chucky'. Also in this movie Jennifer Tilly not only voices Tiffany, she stars as herself as well. Who really mocks herself in this movie. Tiffany, who is struggling to stop killing wants her soul to be transferred into Jennifer's body, where as Chucky does not really care which body his soul ends up. As for their child, called Glen/Glenda, voiced by Billy Boyd (Lord Of The rings), he/she must decide weather he/she wants to be a boy or a girl before they even try and switch his soul over.
I strongly urge all you horror fans out there to get this movie, it's unlike any I have known before. The bonus features are just as funny as the movie, with interviews with all three dolls, Chucky, Tiffany and Glen/Glenda, who give you their own views on the new movie. Plus the making of Seed Of Chucky, with commentary from the Director of the movie Don Mancini, really does inform you of how much work goes into these puppet dolls to make them work, and the time it takes to accomplish a film like this.

This horror / thriller / comedy has very strong language, violence, gore and sexual content.
Overall comment on this movie is that I think it is a great buy, brilliantly funny horror, where you just won't believe your eyes. It makes you thirsty for another instalment of the Chucky/Childs Play movies.
