Scream 3 is the last chapter in the Scream trilogy, and it is as good if not better than Scream and Scream 2!
Scream 3 still stars the three big ones from the first two: Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette, a few people from the other 2 films pop up as well. On the Scream 3 DVD you get many extras unlike Scream and Scream 2, you get:
Outtakes from all 3 Scream movies
Behind the scenes montage
Deleted scenes with commentary from Wes Craven and Crew
Alternative ending
Creed music video “What If”
Audio commentary (Wes Craven, Cast and Crew)
Cast and Crew biography
2 theatrical trailers
Owners of Scream and Scream 2 on DVD will know this is 1000 times more extras than what was on those; on Scream and Scream 2 you get the following extras: *Ummm, nothing, sorry! Horror films generally use sound to enhance that ‘scary’ feeling and Scream 3 is no exception; Scream 3 surrounds you with both subtle whispers and shockingly loud bass filled stingers! This film is (apparently) using the latest sound effects called 'Dolby Digital 5.1' this sounds very impressive and technical but whatever it is it works a treat!
The film’s plot is basically: Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is now living on her own in the middle of now where, and no one except Deputy Dewey knows where she is living. The film “stab 3” is being filmed in Hollywood and the cast start being killed off in the order their characters are killed off in the film. Sidney comes out of hiding and herself and the other survivors of Woodsboro are again drawn into the ‘game’ of trying to find out who the killer is.
This film is hilariously funny as well as spine tingly scary, it is a mix that could only work on one of the ‘Scream’ films.
If you liked the first two you will love this one, i honestly suggest you go and buy it, if you are not sure go and rent it first - you won't be dissapointed!!

I think I will have to disagree on it being the best out of the trilogy. I personally did not find it scary at all!!!

Wasnt sure whether to rate H or VH, but you included everything you would need to know, and most importantly, you didnt ruin the film by telling me the ending. thanks, karen.

Advantages: The special features are excellent Disadvantages: Unfortunanately, Scream 3 was the very last Scream sequal, but expect another brilliant series of similar films from Wesley Snipes, director.
