Scream 2 follows the same basic formula as the first but isn't, in my opinion, as good as the first was, that is not to put down this film because it was very good on it's own merits, but no compared to the first. Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is now in college and is once again the target of a bloodthirsty mask-wearing, knife-wielding, psychotic killer. However this time the body count is higher and the deaths are more outrageous and elaborate, which are the traits of a sequel, as noted by one of the victims. Also starring Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Jamie Kenedy and Omar Epps.
The Scream films as a whole are comedy type horrors and this is not disappointing as a comedy, it had me and my friends rolling around in laughter (mainly at Dewy, Arquette) as well as hiding in fear. Rated 18
