Scream 2 reunites the Scream survivors at Windsor college, a small Midwestern university, two years after the first movie ends. Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has grown smarter and tougher since the murders two years ago.
David Arquette is back as deputy Dewey Riley along with Jamie Kennedy who plays Randy Meeks who is now a college student. Liev Schreiber reprises his role as Cotton Weary. New Cast members include Sarah Michelle Gellar (buffy), Jada Pinkett, Jerry O’Connell, Heather Graham, Rebecca Gayheart etc
Sidney has a new boyfriend, Derek (Jerry O’Connell) and attends Windsor college joined by Randy, her old pal from Woodsboro’.
When a movie called Stab opens around the country a new killer is unleashed at Windsor. A copycat killer, targeting Sidney. Suddenly she doesn’t know who to trust and no-one is safe.
A great sequel to a great movie, this movie is funny & scary much like the first movie, but is also about twenty minutes longer. Again, it will keep you guessing like the first movie and you come away from this film feeling highly satisfied as you’ve just seen another well made horror film. Great, but can’t quite beat the first one.
