Advantages: Humourous, excerpts span many years Disadvantages: Amusing rather than hilarious, limited target audience
...---Introduction---
Those born and raised in Scotland will have no trouble recalling funny man Rikki Fulton and the many guises he adopted in his comedy sketch shows. For the rest of the world, I should perhaps introduce him by saying that for many years from the 1970s through until his death in 2004, Rikki Fulton was a much-loved Scots comic who was best known for his show "Scotch and Wry" and for his appearances on TV every hogmanay. Through his sketches he created numerous characters such as a hilariously inept police motorcycle outrider, but he is perhaps best known for his character, The Reverend IM Jolly, who is the main star of this particular DVD offering.
---Content---
The DVD is a single disc comprising clips and sketches from Fulton's Scotch and Wry series and focuses almost entirely on The Rev IM Jolly. This character...
