** BRIEF PLOT…
It is the year 2139 and inside a massive fortress of a city, named Mega City one, people are living in fear for their lives due to the excessive violence which surrounds them.
Outside the cities lies a radio-active wasteland, once called The United States of America’, where more violent conflicts are regularly being fought.
The only people who are stopping the population ... ...years service… his name is Judge Dredd (Stallone) and he has his own quick style brand of justice. But as much as Dredd is feared by the criminals he is also loathed by his superiors, who think of him as a threat to the future of Law enforcement, especially Chief Judge Griffin (Prochnow), who, with the help of Dredds ‘clone’ brother Rico (Assante) decide to discredit Dredd.
So with Dredd now being seen as a criminal he is sent to a prison outside ...

A decent Sci-Fi film this one.
The human race has split into two distinctive sides. One left for the stars and are considered lesser beings, they are the ‘Pilgrims’. The other stayed home and advanced their technology on planet. They consider themselves more civilised and superior.
Not so civilised though to avoid war with an alien race called the Kilrathi. The Kilrathi are determined to exterminate humans and an ... ...the Pilgrims who eventually come to humanities rescue. The pilgrims have the power to navigate through the dark space zones without the need for the high Tec Navcoms and it’s this ability that will eventually prove vital in the on going war. With the huge Earth space fleet two hours away it is up to a small force to defend the Earth against overwhelming odds. Can the crew of the ‘Tiger Claw’ hold back the mass of the Kilrathi Empires battle fleet?

...evening she is summoned by the government to ‘help’ them. She soon learns that something is fast approaching Earth and it is going to make impact within a few minutes. As the thing lands the Army and Government rush to see what it is and soon discover that it is an alien spaceship.
From the spaceship a creature appears and when it is fired at by the army a giant metal being comes out and attacks back. The creature is soon taken away and the bullet ... ...make the discovery that the creature has a human form. The creature is called Klaatu and he is here to save the Earth. Little do people know that he is going to do so by killing mankind. Helen befriends Klaatu and helps him escape so that she can try and stop him from killing the humans. Will Helen be ale to save mankind or are we all destined to die so Earth can be saved?
Well it was third time luck with this film as on the two previous attempts ...

...this as either a new Star Wars movie or a Star Wars movie in its own right, what it is turns out to be nothing more than a pilot for the next animated Clone Wars series.
The characters themselves are pretty well drawn on the whole and do accurately reflect their movie counterparts but you are left to wonder how much money George Lucas squandered in trying to get this into movie theatres merely to attract attention for a new tv series that most Star ... ...known and beloved to most Star Wars fans, instead it is replaced by a Flash Gordon style Narrator explaining what the current Star Wars universe situation is. Jabba The Hutts son is kidnapped by pirates so Mace Windu sends Anakin & Obi Wan to go and rescue him. If you aren't a huge fan you probably won't notice the tiny differences in the voice portrayals of roles like Anakin, Obi Wan, Yoda & Palpatine although the characterizations of them (as well ...
