MAX AUSSIE MAD FILM
Review of Mad Max DVD by donovan74

Advantages: GRIPPING FAST EXCITING COMPELLING ACTION
Disadvantages: OTHER TWO SEQUELS

The First Mad Max (1979) is the best, the sequels are Mad Max 2 (the road warrior) and Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome which did not in my opinon live up to the intoxicating First Mad Max THE FILM Future Australia has last most of it's law and order, highways have been overturned by violent motorcycle gang's and Police moral is at an all time low. Mel Gibson plays.Mad Max Rocktansky a tough Police cop who want's out,to be free from the hellraising ...
...say he is working on Mad Max 4 out later this year. I think this film will not be everyones cup of tea but it's certainly original (not a glossy hollywood film) and marked the start of Mel Gibsons great acting career who has now become a sucessful film director(passion of the christ). QUICK SUMMARY A superb enthralling,hi octane, violent film which will engross you all the way to the end. I fully recommend you add this to your DVD collection (always ... Read review

I AM LEGEND, yes you are!
Review of I Am Legend DVD by Maximus-Qualitus

Advantages: Very Enjoyable
Disadvantages: None

I Am Legend. *********** I remember watching the original film 'The Omega Man', starring Charlton Heston. It was a bit poor and massively different from the book. This latest version starring Will Smith is slightly different from the book but closer to the mark. The story: ********* Robert Neville is the last 'Normal' human alive in the city of Los Angeles and possibly the last in the world. His mind is constantly prayed upon with doubts and ...
...of loneliness for a good 3rd of the film is eerie and the amosphere is superbly done. The flash backs to his family are at times disjointed but are clearly a requirement to the plot. All in all a movie I enjoyed and would watch again, Recommended. Greg. ... Read review

Have you Seen the Signs?
Review of Signs DVD by IzzyS

Advantages: Very absorbing, suspenseful, Good performances
Disadvantages: The ending (somewhat anti-climactic and the visuals of the aliens), a bit too 'Hollywood' perhaps

...main acting cast) - Signs is all about the Hess family, who are recovering after the sudden death of their wife and mother, Colleen (played by Patricia Kalember). The father, Graham Hess (played by Mel Gibson), has recently given up being a Reverend/priest, as he questions faith due to what happened to his wife. He lives at home on a farm with his sons Merrill (layed by Joaquin Phoenix) and Morgan (played by Rory Culkin) and his daughter Bo (played ...
...- My Thoughts/Opinions - Signs is a suspenseful science fiction thriller, brought to you by the director of other similar movies like the Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and The Village, M. Night Shyamalan. This movie has some of the usual elements of his other movies, although one thing thats slightly different is that your shown more, visually, at certain points towards the end of the movie mostly, of the aliens or presence there, though even then its ...
