Quantum Leap Season 3 Advantages: A fell good heart warming season you can't miss! Disadvantages: None! This is the third season of and one of the best in Dr. Sam Beckett's leaping history. Scott Bakula (Sam Beckett) realy shows why he is perfect for this roll. The acting is first class as Sam leap's into a woman and has to become Miss Deep South and he is beleivable in every way. Dr Sam Beckett gets personal as he leaps into himself as a young 16 year old and has to stop himself from telling his familey the future they will have , a heart breaking ... ...die. What would you do?? . He also leaps into a piano man / magician and a convicted murderer on death-row. The best season yet. A MUST BUY FOR ALL. Sam shows he can also sing as he becomes Tonic who is a rock 'n' roll star. This season also has one of the best clif-hangers ever as Sam gets Shock Treatment and becomes everyone he has leaped into and then leaps with Al. ... Quantum Leap season 2 Advantages: Feel good heart warming season. Disadvantages: none ...the past and save project Quantum Leap. Can he do it?? Other episodes that are in this series shows Sam becoming a Stunt man in the 70's , a DJ who has to save Rock 'n' Roll and a Radio station , a ghost catcher and many more. One of the best things about this series is how they deal with descrimination:- In "The Americanization of Machiko" Sam has got married to a japanise lady who comes to America. Sam not only has to deal with the towns people ... ...his mothers descrimination. Also in "Jimmy" Sam leaps into a " Slow person" who has to deal with people calling him "Dummy" and generaly objecting to his working in the docks just because he is "slow" Other episodes include Sam becoming A blind pianist , A harassed secretary . Another good year from the QL Team Advantages: Great episodes, including some really good story arcs Disadvantages: The "Finale" lets it down I just love Quantum Leap! I'd have liked it to continue, but then I'm not sure that I would have loved it quite so much! (Oh, the irony!) This, the final, series is just as good as all the others: rare in a show that lasts this long - bu this time the writers have changed or the actors move on, and you get a sense of "can't be bothered". Not with Quantum Leap. The main protagonists, Sam and Al, remain as good as when the appeared fresh faced 5 ... ...works at the Quantum Leap Project!). Not lost any appeal, and still has the odd charm! Advantages: You don't have to have seen the first 3 series to enjoy this Disadvantages: No extras on the DVD ...and appeal. Not so with Quantum Leap. ~~~THE BASIC PLOT~~~ Set in the "near future" (for the series, this is 1995!!), Quantum Leap is a project run by Dr Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) to investigate time travel: Sam's theory is that one could time travel within one's own lifetime. Add some spice to your collection...ha. ha. Advantages: Stunning landscapes and buildings, and the worms are great Disadvantages: Confusing. ...who must have a definitive Dune collection, but in my opinion, it doesn't add that much to the film. In general, I would recommend this film to anyone feeling nostalgic for old sci-fi epics, and to anyone who thinks that films such as the Chronicles of Riddick are better in comparison to the greats.
