X-Men 2 (DVD And Fantastic Four Jonny Storm Watch
Review of X-Men 2 (DVD And Fantastic Four Jonny Storm Watch) by
Anthony82
Advantages: Better action than some with story line
Disadvantages: slow in parts
If you love the first X-MEN then X-MEN2 is a must have, with less story building than the first this film has a lot more action - packed fun for all to love.
There are a few slow parts in the film but overall its a must. the charachters realy start to evolve and if you were a fan of the cartoon then the end makes a lot more to you than if you just watch the film.
Although you are left felling that they could have done more.
E.g. Magneto (Lan Mckellen) ... ...four is again much like X-men 1 you have to wait for the best bits as the story building takes its time however its much more for the younger audience with its light humor and slightly cheesy punchlines however it is quit a good film for kids as it does not require you to concerntrate to long and if you miss bits of the film you can catch up with the plot later. A great xmas gift ...

Very good film (9th in series)
Review of Star Trek - Insurrection DVD by
smith190
Advantages: Mountain backdrops, good ship-ship combat scenes
Disadvantages: didn't feature any significant enemies like the Romulans or Borg this time
...the 9th film in the Star Trek movie franchise and there's a new 11th instalment coming out later this year. Insurrection was a film about the crew from Star Trek:The Next Generation embarking on a mission that took the starship Enterprise to a planetary system in a region of space where communications with Starfleet (SOS calls) couldn't be established. I admit that it's a while since I've seen Insurrection so I'm not going to be able to describe ... ...best I've seen in a Star Trek movie and much of the movie took place on the surface of a planet. There were some really nice real mountain backdrops filmed on location somewhere like the Alps or Rockies I'm not sure where.
2) The ship-ship combat scenes at the end were really good especially when Riker took manual control of the ship via a joystick to conduct a maneouvre.
3) One of my faveroute ship flying scenes at the beginning where Data and ...
