X-Men 2 (DVD And Fantastic Four Jonny Storm Watch
Review of X-Men 2 (DVD And Fantastic Four Jonny Storm Watch) by Anthony82

Advantages: Better action than some with story line
Disadvantages: slow in parts

If you love the first X-MEN then X-MEN2 is a must have, with less story building than the first this film has a lot more action - packed fun for all to love. There are a few slow parts in the film but overall its a must. the charachters realy start to evolve and if you were a fan of the cartoon then the end makes a lot more to you than if you just watch the film. Although you are left felling that they could have done more. E.g. Magneto (Lan Mckellen) ...
...four is again much like X-men 1 you have to wait for the best bits as the story building takes its time however its much more for the younger audience with its light humor and slightly cheesy punchlines however it is quit a good film for kids as it does not require you to concerntrate to long and if you miss bits of the film you can catch up with the plot later. A great xmas gift ... Read review

To boldly go!
Review of Star Trek - The Next Generation - Series 3 - Complete DVD by Maniac1701d

Advantages: Hours of Trek!
Disadvantages: None!

...others. The case resembles something Star Trek like, futuristic metal in appearance and totally cool! The Trek Logo is on the sides of the box and the number three on the edge so you can see it immediately when reaching for it on the shelf, below STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION down the side in caps. The case opens from the top to expose a silver box - DVD size - inside a purple inlay with STAR TREK and the logo embossed onto it. The box is in ...
...for a Star Trek fan as it has all of the season's episodes in one place, it makes up a part of a set but would stand alone as well (apart from the fact that the last episode is in two parts and the next part is in set 4!) ... Read review

Season 3 of TNG - Where it really kicked off
Review of Star Trek - The Next Generation - Series 3 - Complete DVD by Happenstance

Advantages: Really stepping up from season 2 will great episodes
Disadvantages: Not too many special features included

...think that season 3 of Star Trek The Next Generation is where the show really came into its own and started to cast off the shadow left by the original series. Season 3 has some terrific science fiction stories told with classic episodes like "Yesterday's Enterprise", "The Defector", "Best Of Both Worlds Part I" and "Sarek" which sees Mark Lenard return as Spocks father. There are 26 episodes this season which last roughly 44 minutes each and for ...
...as with a lot of Star Trek The Next Generation most of the episodes are self contained so will not require a lot of pre-existing knowledge or having to watch previous seasons. I will however recommend buying season 4 aswell as the end cliffhanger from season 3 in "Best Of Both Worlds" is widely considered one of the best in science fiction still after all these years. Main Cast List: Captain Picard - Patrick Stewart Commander Riker - Jonathon ... Read review
