Lucas has saved the prequels
Advantages: Absolutely saved the prequels Disadvantages: This is the final chapter of an incredible story
...The moans and groans from Star Wars fans everywhere could be heard loudly after the not so well received first 2 prequels. Many a critic bashed George Lucas and his prequel vision. They should be quiet now. This movie did more then just wrap the saga up into a nice little bow. This movie rocked. The acting seemed to mature from The Clone Wars. The story being told held you at the end of your seat. The pain the Jedi went through seemed to be felt ... ...Binks. I can not say that this movie was the best of the Saga, however it very well be my favorite. The action seemed non stop, the special effects were incredible, and the ending brought tears to my eyes. I knew how it had to end, but I was just stunned at how well it was done. The only negative thing I can say about this movie would be that it is the last of a saga I wish would continue. ...

My favourite movie
Advantages: - Disadvantages: -
...I'm a fan of Star Wars since I've watched this movie when I was about 4 years old (I'm 28). I remembered when I was to the cinema with my mum.
In fact I only remembered some scenes, but there is something very impact, a strange breath, a powerfol voice that I've remembered for all my life...Darth vader, the dark lord of the Sith.
A new Hope, was the fist movie of 3 that The director ann produccer George Lucas started to make since 1979. It was ... ...to notice, that in Spain, Star was is more popular like in the rest of the world.

Orwellian nightmare of the shaven clones
Advantages: Good bonus material on the DVD Disadvantages: Storyline of the film needs patience to follow it fully.
...experience you get from the THX 1138 Directors Cut DVD is certainly a good insight to the mind-set and creativity of George Lucas. This futuristic film is one of the "must have" films around - even if you watch it just once.
The film itself is set in a stark, white-washed, micro-managed land - where everything done is watched and scrutinised: what is watched on the entertainment system; what medicine you use and how much; who you make love to - ... ...routines, with the lead character, THX 1138 - yes, they have an insignia as their name - shown as working as a handler of radioactive materials, carefully monitored by Big Brother-esq controllers.
Within the environment these people inhabit, there are numerous "confessional" booths, which are automated - obviously showing that someone has the great idea of caring for people - but not too much.
The "prison" where THX end's up can only really be ...

Eagerly anticipated: Jar Jar Who?
Advantages: It's Star Wars! Disadvantages: Jar Jar Bin, some overly long scenes, some FX
...In 1999, twenty years after Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was first released at the cinema amidst a wave of fanatical behaviour, followed by episodes V and VI, George Lucas' considerable enterprise starts off the prequel trilogy with Episode I: A Phantom Menace. The film was eagerly anticipated for so long, with die hard Star Wars fans queuing, sometimes for days, to be one of the first to get a glimpse of the new film. This was to set the scene ... ...of them, would tell a chronological tale. Phantom Menace was met with much excitement, and raving reviews. It also met with criticism, and there was disappointment amidst all the eagerness.
The Plot
A dispute between the Trade Federation and the Galactic Republic has led to a blockade on the planet Naboo. Two Jedi, Master Qui-Gon Jin and his fully trained apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi, are attempting to resolve the dispute with Viceroy Nate Gunroy ...
