"Knowing' the end is the best part!

Advantages: nice ending that ties it all together
Disadvantages: somewhat confusing

This movies was an end of the world type scenario that asks the question 'What would you do if you *Knew*?" I was Nicolas Cage was on top of his game in this. There were some things that were left a little confusing at the end but overall the movie was made well. I do not think that this would be the movie you would want to watch if you were looking for something that would leave you scared. I am not a big horror films person and hate being scared ...
...just the right amount of scary through it with a nice wrap up at the end that wont keep you up all night. I really liked how aspects of the film that are introduced in the beginning of the film are carried down until the end. It's hard to explain what this movie is about without giving it away so if you want to 'Know' you will have to check it out! ...

Sometimes, Ignorance is bliss

Advantages: clever thriller, good story, well acted
Disadvantages: bit depressing?

Dont misunderstand my review title, this is a cracking film. You can nearly always say that about Nicolas Cage films, but this one really is! The premise is simple. There are many disasters happening on earth, for some reason, aliens decide to warn mankind about the upcoming disasters by "whispering" them to a little girl in the 1950's. ...capsule. The capsule is dug up in the current day and discovered by Nicolas Cage's character. He soon discovers the code in the series of numbers written on the page and works out that the code tells of impending disasters, when they will happen, how many will die and the location. Knowing pretty much nothing at all

Advantages: different
Disadvantages: hard to follow

Nicholas Cage stars in this movie where a series of numbers found from the past hold the key to predicting when bad things are going to happen. In this tense action thriller, he has to work out just what's going on before its too late. I have taken a long time to review this film because it's so confusing. You Look Like a Radioactive Tampon

Advantages: Great Direction and Acting
Disadvantages: Too Slow for some

Advantages: Classy return to form, set in the future! very well done!
Disadvantages: should have been an 18 to be its best!
