Bug war!
Advantages: Awesome scifi war movie adapted from a novel
Disadvantages: Could have been a bit longer
The Earth is coming under a new alien threat from bugs! They even drop a meteor on Brazil (an idea they stole from Jerry Niven's novel Footfall) and the worlds Governments decide that a hard miltary strike back at them is the only solution. Event Horizon - Beyond Time
Advantages: Action, plot

Highlander sequel fails to wow
Advantages: Good handling of a mediochre script
Disadvantages: Script and constant darkness
Highlander II: The Quickening is the 1991 sequel to the 1986 film Highlander, which pitted immortal Connor MacLeod against an evil immortal at an event known as the Gathering. Director Russell Mulcahy returns for the sequel, as does Christopher Lambert as MacLeod. The film was less successful than the first, with a rather dubious and other-worldly plot and a low level of special effects reducing it to a more cult status than a commercial success.

...who was a fan of Highlander is likely to enjoy it, although perhaps not as much as the first film. There are elements of genius, and Lambert's portrayal of an immortal wishing he was mortal is very good, although this doesn;t make for very exciting viewing.
In conclusion, this is a well made film which has some dodgy parts and perhaps wasn't handled with an overall audience in mind. It is definitely targeted as those who enjoyed the first film. ...

How can a sequel be so bad
Advantages: Satrship troopers 1 Excellent
Disadvantages: the sequel is the worst film in history
In Starship troopers 1 you had the advantage of a reasonable storyline, plenty of bug killings and likewise human killings.
The film lasts for over 2 hours and the killing never seems to end which is great if you like violence and action. I enjoyed it thoroughly and then sat back waiting in anticipation for the second film to arrive. In the first film they must have used a budget of Millions of dollars to produce this epic quality picture. In the ...

Starship Troopers 2 has proved to be a complete waste of time and money in my opinion along. after the first film they really could have come up with an equal type of film if not better but no, they ruined the good name of the film with the sequel If you enjoy Starship troopers 1, I would beg you not to buy Starship troopers 2, you will regret wasting 90 minutes of your life on the worst film ever!!! ...

Charming film
Advantages: Performances, story, music, special effects
Disadvantages: Some bits missed out
...before, I am a massive Harry Potter fan and I've watched them religiously as they've been released. This film was no exception, another charming story to add to the tale of Harry Potter and his adventure through Hogwarts.
Story
The film opens with a dark snake slithering through the grasses of the graveyard towards an "outhouse". You are then in the caretakers house who spots a flashing light from one of the windows of the outhouse. He ...
...begin to destroy the campsite. Harry (of course) gets separated from the rest of the group as they head back to the portkey and ends up being knocked unconscious by people rushing past him. He wakes up and sees a mysterious man lurking out ( the same man we saw in the outhouse). He casts a spell and creates the "Dark Mark" of Voldemort in the clouds. This is where the confusion starts for Harry and continues throughout the film.
