Max is more than mad.. he's insane
Advantages: great action packed entertainment Disadvantages: none
...This second movie in the Mad Max saga opens with a briefing of the first movie, so in essence you do not have to have seen the first film to understand this one… but I do recommend watching the first as it is a great movie with some fantastic action and thrills.
Anyway…
The Character Max Rockatansky has already made Mel Gibson a bit of a household name due to the very first Mad Max saga in 1979 becoming a bit of a cult movie from the moment it ... ...as good as the first Mad Max but it comes very close and is just as action packed and entertaining.
The all round acting leaves no complaints as everyone plays their parts brilliantly, especially Kjell Nilsson as the weird Lord Humungous and not forgetting Emil Minty as the dog like feral kid who grunts his way through the movie… and watch out for this kids rather bizarre tricks he does with his boomerang.
If you like the Mad Max saga then get ...

One Plan at a Time
Advantages: Sets the tone for the upcoming year, with Farscape's usual high quality writing. Disadvantages: A couple of mis-steps.
The third season of Farscape still remains my personal favourite in the prematurely cancelled epic science fiction series, as the show expands far beyond its original boundaries and weaves a finely crafted story arc across a colourful season of strongly individual episodes, before creative blunders and corporate interference weakened the series in its fourth and ultimately final year.
As always, very little time is spent in the first episode of ... ...I really can't praise Farscape enough, as will probably become annoyingly evident through my reviews of this finest season, but repeated viewings often favour these earlier episodes of set-up less than the more satisfying episodes towards the end of the season, when situations escalate and the show begins to deliver on long-awaited promises. As such, these first five episodes are still very entrenched in the concerns born out of the season finale, ...

Farscape TV Series - General Review
Advantages: Brilliant TV show that is so much more than a generic sci-fi series Disadvantages: Not enough people know just how good it is
...a brief review of the Farscape Ultimate Collection, but after about three lines I realised there was no way I could encompass what I thought about four complete & one mini-series of such a wonderful show into a single paragraph. So I finished quickly, hit save and then planned to come back when I had more time to try to explain why this is my favourite sci-fi TV series ever and why everyone in the entire world should know how good it is.
"The "Ultimate ... ...probably the best thing about Farscape - it is so much more than just a sci-fi show for geeks, full of techno-babble & lycra-clad lovelies (although there are those elements to some degree). It is a human drama (albeit about some people who aren't exactly human and two main characters who are puppets) and how they cope with life, death, love, loss, the unknown and space monsters. In Farscape, the situations that arise are extreme (after all, it's ...

In ROTF, the robots are much, much bigger.
Advantages: funny, exciting, great effects, good story, good acting, fast paced Disadvantages: too much crude humour, slightly abrupt endings for some scenes
...was expecting a lot from Transformers 2. Knowing Bay and Spielberg, I knew that they would give us a sequel with 10 times more stunts and effects than the first one. Unfortunately, they slightly over did it. Revenge of The Fallen follows the events of the original Transformers movie about a normal teenage boy, Sam, being chosen to help the Autobots defend Earth and defeat the Deceptagons. The film starts off with a brilliant scene showing Wheelie, ... ...city. A noticeable difference between the two movies is the size of the transformers. In ROTF, the robots are much, much bigger. This is best near the end of the movie when a enormous robot is generated from other robots. Sometimes in the many fights between the two types of transformer it gets confusing to tell the difference between them as their colours blend in. This is not a major problem due to terrific autobot voice acting. So, the effects ...

Who needs Guantanamo Bay. Check this out Obama!
Advantages: Interesting sci-fi Disadvantages: Perhaps the acting
...quite enjoyed ‘Event Horizon’. The Cube trilogy, like the above a more intriguing angle on the topic, is something that I have been aware of for a while but have yet to see any for rent, only Blockbusters policy of buying old DVDs from customers finally uncovering one. I think mobile phones and bad acting have destroyed the notion of ever seeing a decent horror movie era again-the internet providing far worse for people who really want to be shocked-and ... ...best way forward. Cube is not the most innovative and intelligent film in the genre but its certainly unique and leaning that way. CAST Nicole de Boer ... Joan Leaven - The Math Student Nicky Guadagni ...
