Darker and yet funnier than the previous films.
Advantages: Amazing special effects. Excellent acting.
Disadvantages: Unfaithful to the book in parts.
...film in its own right Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is one of my favourites of the series so far. This film is much darker than the others, the wizarding world has now admitted that Voldemort is back and Harry has to realise his ties with Voldemort more than ever before. ...are hilarious. The acting is of an excellent standard and Jim Broadment makes a welcome addition to the cast as Professor Slughorn. This film contains less action than many of the others, largely to focus upon the storyline and retell the wealth of information revealed in this book. Sky Captain or Why Captain?
Advantages: Clever story.plot and cleverly filmed
Disadvantages: Not particularily well acted and a bit strange to say the least
This is a strange film in my opinion, it comes out well presented and has some good cast members, The story is also quite innovative and provides enough intrigue to keep you going to the end of the film. The film though is a bit stretched and doesn't really seem to Stick together too well. It's basically about an almost reluctant hero that flies around in what i can only describe as a world war 2 antique and yet by the end of the film you get to ...
...that is home to one miss Jolie. There seems to be a lack of consistency throughout as to the abilities of some of the objects such as the plane etc and the acting is very dull and predictable in places, verging onto tedious.
The film is watchable but there are much better films around. Unless you are a big fan of slightly odd/strange films or members of the cast i wouldn't waste money on this myself. ...

Charming film
Advantages: Performances, story, music, special effects
Disadvantages: Some bits missed out
...before, I am a massive Harry Potter fan and I've watched them religiously as they've been released. This film was no exception, another charming story to add to the tale of Harry Potter and his adventure through Hogwarts.
Story
The film opens with a dark snake slithering through the grasses of the graveyard towards an "outhouse". You are then in the caretakers house who spots a flashing light from one of the windows of the outhouse. He ...
...begin to destroy the campsite. Harry (of course) gets separated from the rest of the group as they head back to the portkey and ends up being knocked unconscious by people rushing past him. He wakes up and sees a mysterious man lurking out ( the same man we saw in the outhouse). He casts a spell and creates the "Dark Mark" of Voldemort in the clouds. This is where the confusion starts for Harry and continues throughout the film.

Advantages: Performances, music.
Disadvantages: Storyline.
The fifth Harry Potter film...the effects got better, the performances are amazing but the storyline isn't that brilliant. The pressure of making the Harry Potter films better and better is immense, but it didn't work that well this time.
Story
The film starts off in Little Whinging. Harry is in a park when his cousin Dudley comes across with his mates to tease Harry about numerous things, including his parents. The atmosphere goes from ...

Harry Potter and the goblet of fire
Advantages: great allround movie
Disadvantages: value for money
