Not all that Fantastic any more

Advantages: Great effects at the time
Disadvantages: Hasnt aged well and lots of silly goofs

Time hasn't been kind to this movie. Your basic plot is for some reason the US Government want to operate on a defecting scientist who has been injured in an assassination attempt (I believe someone says he is able to make the shrinking process last longer than 60 minutes as an off the cuff remark) and the guy their sending doesn't want to go but has to anyway. The crew is a Navy guy, the doctor who navigates (surely the surgeon could have done that ...

Review of Fantastic Voyage (DVD)

Not a sunday roast but Soylent green!

Advantages: Very gripping throughout.
Disadvantages: Slightley boring

...it for days after. Soylent Green is a new food Suppliment in the poor future, and it is a improvement on the recent Soylent colours. It is in High demand, and The character 'thorn' played by Chartan Heston discovers the manafacturing process of it. It makes you think how the world would be in the future. i like the fact that although it was made in the 70s and its set in the year 2022- thats quite far unlike the film space 1999! ...

TWO GREAT SCI-FI FILMS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE....

Advantages: Two of the best Sci-fi films made
Disadvantages: None

Conan the repeater

Advantages: It can be quite funny (without intent) in places
Disadvantages: Too much of the original movie is reused

...than its still Arnold playing Conan and that clearly a little bit of time has passed since the end of the first movie. Basically the plot is this:- Conan doing a favour to try & retrieve a magical gem and get his lover brought back to life which devolves into a rescue movie as only 1 person can touch the gem and Conan has to get her back from the evil wizard who actually has the magical gem they've gone to steal which is rather handy as it kills ...

Review of Conan The Destroyer (DVD)

In ROTF, the robots are much, much bigger.

Advantages: funny, exciting, great effects, good story, good acting, fast paced
Disadvantages: too much crude humour, slightly abrupt endings for some scenes

...was expecting a lot from Transformers 2. Knowing Bay and Spielberg, I knew that they would give us a sequel with 10 times more stunts and effects than the first one.
