Advantages: Great Film
Disadvantages: Swearing
This Film is Great For Those Who Are Into Action Packed Films... Because If You Are... Then I Would Definatly Recommend This Film.
Even If Your Not Into Action Packed Films... I Would Still Recommend It To You!
Great Film to Settle Down To. Its rated a 12 but i Think Thats Because Theres a Few Swear Words Used and Theres Physical Violence... Its Not Bad Violence... So No Blood Or Anything... Since When do Robots Bleed Anyway?

All that waiting for this!!!
Review of Alien Vs Predator (Wide Screen) (Special Edition) by
Diggyzed
Advantages: Graphics
Disadvantages: Everything else
Alien versus Predator Whoever wins we lose. Even the snappy subtitle starts some contraversy. As we have seen from Predator 1 all that was needed to kill a predator was one man. Ok it was arnold schwarzenegger but we could just get him again with some of his mates to kill three. As for the aliens there are about 10 of them so nothing really to be scared of if they win 10 aliens is not enough to defeat the human race.
With this title without having ... ...like CG in Predator and Alien 1. The aliens look very realistic, if you have ever seen an alien in real life before, and all the weapons of the predators look great too even the costumes are advanced from the originals in Predator.
However I have to talk about the negatives. You are going to be here for a long time! Firstly I am utterly disappointed that this movie was only a 15. This limits the amount of gore you actually see and in my view sort ...

Review of Minority Report (Wide Screen) by
david_1967
Advantages: Good storyline and vision from a world class director
Disadvantages: Predictable ending and soft-light focusing throughout
I purhcased 'Minority Report' the other week for a number of reasons -
1 - It is sci-fi.
2 - I hadn't seen it 3 - It was based on a short story by Philip K. Dick
4 - Spielberg directed it
5 - It was cheap (I am and will always be a tight-fisted Yorkshireman)
For those of you unaware of the fact Philip Kindred Dick is a phenomenal author of numerous science fiction stories, some of which you will already know - the Ridley Scott film 'Blade Runner' ... ...Sheep?' and 'Total Recall' was based on his short story 'We can Remember it for You Wholesale'. Anybody out there with a brain will already know who Steven Spielberg is so I won't patronize you with HIS credentials.
The film is set in the year 2054 where a future without any crime is almost upon us. Detective John Anderton (Tom Cruise) is the drug-using head of the 'Pre-Crime' unit in Washington DC where murder has all but been eliminated. Three ...

looks good
Review of War Of The Worlds (Special Edition) by
atytyut2434
Advantages: looks good
Disadvantages: not as good as the original
OK, this visually looks excellent. It sticks quite close to the actual book. Mr H. G. Wells was British. The book was set in England. Then that egotistical idiot Orson Wells put it on the radio and set it in America - forever clouding the mind of every American to be born after this.
The Jeff Wayne musical version followed the book the most closely by actually being in England. This film at least tries to stay close to the original storyline without ... ...line that says "America versus The Terrorists!", The Terrorists being The Martians that have lived amongst us unseen for years. The red weed growing on Earth and the walking Tripods are all as seen by H. G. Wells in the book.
Visually the film looks fantastic, but rather shockingly the visible cast only contains 3 stars. Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning & Tim Robbins. Of course if the voice of Morgan Freeman is included then it still only makes 4 sale-able ...
