Advantages: An awesome epic
Disadvantages: can be a little dull

Since first entering the Dune universe I hav read every book available to date, watched both mini-series and played every game I could get my hands on... It still doesn't compare to the actual awe I feltwatching this film properly for the first time. Ok, it doesn't stick that closely to the original story (unlike the later adaptation by the sci-fi channel) and the earlier DVD edition had an odd green tone but this is IT, the reason I am now obsesive ...

...The fact that the Blade Runner(Rick Deckard) is forced back into killing the Nexus 6, made a turning point in the movie as he was now a target. This is an enjoyable film, which turns everything you know about genies on it's head. The djinn (genie) played by Andrew Djorkoff are an evil race of people created after the angels and before people. to come back into this world and take over whoever awakens the djinn has to ask for three wishes. The genie has been trapped in an ancien statue by an old sorcerer. the statue gets delivered to Robert Englund, an arts collector with an expensive taste. ...
