Review of Appleseed (Animated) (Subtitled and Dubbed) (DVD)

Appleseed Ex Machina Blue Ray Version

Advantages: Great visuals, cracking story and good extras.
Disadvantages: Poor lip synchronization and a couple of boring sections.

I have the Blue Ray version of this film so my review will be based on the slightly better HD quality product. The film is being sold on the fact that it has John Woo as the producer however this is simply a gimmick to draw in those who are not familiar with Japanese anime. The visuals are excellent using CG (computer graphics) mixed in with a cell shaded look. This makes the film have a unique look that is slightly more realistic than the CG you ...

You Look Like a Radioactive Tampon

Advantages: Great Direction and Acting

Sometimes, Ignorance is bliss
