Advantages: Brilliant stories, fantastic acting.
Disadvantages: Cutdown confidentials instead of full episode

The first series of Doctor Who I saw was series 4. I thought it was brilliant and instantly loved it so obviously wanted to watch the rest of the series to see what other amazing stories there were. All that waiting for this!!!

Alien versus Predator Whoever wins we lose. Even the snappy subtitle starts some contraversy. As we have seen from Predator 1 all that was needed to kill a predator was one man. Ok it was arnold schwarzenegger but we could just get him again with some of his mates to kill three. One ugly motherf***ing film"

Advantages: Potential of story.
Disadvantages: Everything else.

...joking, either. I mean Alien Resurrection was bad, but AVP is even below that level. The characters are lame, the acting cringe-worthy, and the PG rating is just a pathetic attempt at persuading younger audiences to hit the cinema and make more money for the corporate whores within the FOX network. With very little violence or gore, even the much anticipated alien vs predator fight is a huge disappointment. The only ever-so-slightly saving grace ...

Stargate SG1 - Season 1

Advantages: Gripping, addictive, plenty too watch, perfect in most ways
Disadvantages: expensive and may take up most of your days for the next while
