Of all movie monsters, the Alien has to be my favourite and this box set is an esential for anyone who has seen and loved any or all of the four pure Alien movies (dsicounting the Alien/ Predator crossover genre). Having been old enough to have seen the original Alien at the cinema I was pleased that the box set includes the original as well as the new updated and reditied versions of all four of the movies. Advantages: A great refreshing re-release at a pretty good price

Advantages: never fading, always new and gives you hope
Disadvantages: not good for under 16

Future Noir!

Advantages: Greatest sci-fi movie of all time. Need I say more?
Disadvantages: Slow pacing and thoughtful qualities may be a little tiresome for some.

BLADE RUNNER Blighted by an arduous shoot that led to t-shirt wars between an unsympathetic American crew and its English director; a frosty relationship with Tandem pictures; a considerable misjudgement in releasing the film with a dour voice over narration and happy ending following mediocre preview sneaks in Denver and Dallas; and the fact it followed on the boot heels of Spielberg's wonderful ET, you would think it amazing that Blade Runner ...

You Look Like a Radioactive Tampon

Advantages: Great Direction and Acting
Disadvantages: Too Slow for some
