Advantages: More of the same exciting action, great characterization
Disadvantages: Some stories are boring.

Most of the civilisations they meet are human (although they do meet aliens too), because it was found that humans on Earth are the 'people of the Tari' which means that all human life in the whole universe started in our planet. ...the Fire "Previously, on Stargate SG-1…" Hathor has managed to capture Jack, Sam and Daniel (but not Teal,'c though she might have rejected him because she couldn't mess with his mind as easily.) ...attack people in London the Doctor and Rose have to stop the earth being taken over by this thing. As an opening episode it was well written with an easy to follow story line for the return of the Doctor. The minimal use of special effects making the episode more believable, the opening explosion very dramatic indeed.
