Advantages: Some interesting Ideas, acting
Disadvantages: Basic plot, predictable, run of the mill cop film

...them in perfect harmony. Alien Nation as spawned many fan pages, just like many of the other sci-fi films and series that are based on a unique idea. But that's all Alien Nation is a unique idea ruined by the fact they turned this into a basic cop film. ...detective who's partner is killed by a "Newcomer". Caan then choose the first newcomer who is promoted to Detective to be his new partner. You follow there relationship through the film and see how Caan takes a liking to the newcomer. You will notice many similarities to other cop films such has Lethal Weapon. Dazzling action in superb Willow

Advantages: Magical, entertaining, fun, funny, great special effects, action packed
Disadvantages: I cant see any!

Review of Willow (Special Edition) (DVD)

What an evil little puppet.

Advantages: Story, characters, setting, absolutely brilliant.
Disadvantages: Giant rats, look shoddy.

Always Judge a Man By the Quality of His Enemies

Advantages: Intelligent return of the series' most popular villains.
Disadvantages: Weak moments in the final part, contrived cliffhangers.

Review of Doctor Who - Remembrance Of The Daleks (DVD)

A snapshot dive into a crazy imagination

Advantages: Great use of a crazy imagination! Very funny!
Disadvantages: Comes accross as slightly low budget

...by some. Slightly out of the ordinary. Personally though... it had me in creases of laughter, and has become a personal favourite! The film is about a Baron. The Baron. The Baron Munchausen. The Baron is considered as a fictional character, who has several friends with exceptional abilities, such as strength, sight, hearing etc. A play cast are half way through a performance of his adventures when the real Baron turns up and relates his own account ...
...in places such as on the moon (which they fall off), with Vulcan the God (who's wife the Baron seduces), and in the middle of a full scale war, defending a city. The cast stars Eric Idle, who was made popular mainly by the "Monty Python" series, but he has also starred in several other comedy films, giving them the finishing flourish they need, and this is certainly true of "The Adventures Of Baron Munchausen". My advice? Buy the film. You won't ...
