...is pretty bonkers but The Doctor manages to transport himself to a parallel Earth where everything is different & everyone he knows and trusts are so different from his own Universes counterparts. I think the best thing about this story is how evil Nick Courtney manages to play without seeming too over the top. The special effects are rubbish but you get John Pertwee at his best, a Tardis that can't be used as this is part of the "confined to Earth ...

Orwellian nightmare of the shaven clones

Advantages: Good bonus material on the DVD
Disadvantages: Storyline of the film needs patience to follow it fully.

ANDROMEDA STRAIN - A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME??

Advantages: Good past paced movie, good effects and plot
Disadvantages: Jumps about between past and present at times

Plastic fantastic.

Advantages: String plot, wonderfully acted,
Disadvantages: Auton acting a little plastic!

Perfection, is just about the only word that can describe this the first Joh Pertwee story. It really set the tone for the next 4 years of his reign as the Doctor. Wonderfully written beautifully acted and with one of the creepiest enemies ever featured, The Autons.
