Space-based antics! Advantages: Good special effects and serenity has a great plot. Disadvantages: Doom is a bit of a let-down. Serenity - A hardened space cowboy, psychic butt-kicking girl, flesh eating carnivorous humans living on the outskirts of space and a galactic conspiracy. Altogether a fantastic story, great special effects and an interesting take on the development of language in the future. Like Shakespeare in space! Sorry Will. Hardcore Doom fans may find the lack of first person views disappointing, but overall a good special effects and a mediocre script and plot. 2 for the price of 1, but at this price I'm not sure if I would have purchased them. Happilly added to my DVD collection at lower price, but not recommending purely because of the price. Will Smith - Box Set Advantages: 3 amazing films. Disadvantages: none. Will Smith has to be one of the most talented men on earth. He can sing, dance and act, brilliantly. Will Smith developed his acting career with 'Fresh Prince of Bellair' and from that he grew and grew. This box set is really good for it's price and Will Smith makes that price the more better. I robot is an action-packed film which is briefly about robots taking over the world. The robots are meant to be wonderful inventions and never able to harm ... ...film that is basically American originated. I can't really explain this film as I can't briefly remember it and also with the film 'Minority'. I have seen these films and they are great but I can't really put it in to words about the two. The Good and Bad of I Robot Advantages: Entertains Disadvantages: Does get abit boring in some places What I personally enjoyed about I Robot is the opening seen of Will Smith in the shower, but I would. Throughout this film I thought that Will Smiths (Detective Del Spooner) performance was excellent, along with supporting actress Bridget Moynahan (Dr. Susan Calvin) just made the film. Both their performances complimented each other. The special effects all the way through this film are phenomenal, they are so realistic and very imaginative, companied ... ...just makes the film so individual and entertaning, it is a must see movie. The only problem that I found within all the special effects, characters and of course the classic sound track (with songs by people you will know who ever you are) is that its a film where you cannot watch it over and over again in a short period of time, you do have to leave it for a couple months before you can rewatch it and not get destracted by anything else. Add some spice to your collection...ha. ha. Advantages: Stunning landscapes and buildings, and the worms are great Disadvantages: Confusing. ...who must have a definitive Dune collection, but in my opinion, it doesn't add that much to the film. In general, I would recommend this film to anyone feeling nostalgic for old sci-fi epics, and to anyone who thinks that films such as the Chronicles of Riddick are better in comparison to the greats. Do you believe in aliens? Advantages: scary Disadvantages: repetitive The X-Files (nearly wrote X Factor there) is an American TV show from the 90s. It’s about aliens and other paranormal activity, but investigates it from the perspective of the FBI. Two agents: Mulder and Scully, investigate paranormal stories. I found season 4 a bit boring if I’m honest, and now season 5 has done something really annoying: picked up where season 4 left off! Yes, Mulder continues to search for the cure to Scully’s mystery illness ... ...best pleased to be watching the same stuff over again. However, it’s not all repetition. Scully’s DNA proves she has a daughter, one that came out of her alien abduction. This raises all sorts of possibilities for the show, and I like the way Scully, who started off as the scientific sceptic, is now more alien-involved than Mulder.
