Star Trek Voyager is an excellent addition to the star trek universe with a reputation that is well deserved. The characters are superbly constructed and performed by the various actors employed during the series. Prostetics and special effects are second to none and the storyline is so diverse and involved that you will feel part of the story as voyager trys to find its way home through the treacherous 'delta quadrant'. Although this does remove some of the enjoyment of voyager it is greatly outdone by the opinions mentioned previously. Advantages: Good Quality, Fun

When i first noticed this title in the shops, my first reaction was "Thats too expensive" but then i realised that it was the price for ten films all included in the one set. Review of Star Trek : 1-10 (Movie Box Set) (DVD)

Dune for TV

Advantages: More of the book is explored
Disadvantages: Largely unknown cast and certain weak special effects

...In this version of Dune the colour scheme for the Harkonnens has been changed from Blondes wearing black to Redheads wearing red, its a very red colour palette indeed which is quite hard on the eyes in certain scenes. The scenes in the Harkonnen court do heavily indicate how much money was lavished on sets leaving nothing for actors anyone has heard of. Another character who struggles and incorrectly pronounces Muadib is Liet-Kynes the Imperial Ecologist ...
...actor playing him here is a complete unknown as is the case in most of the roles in this mini series. It is sad to think that only William Hurt and Ian McNeice represent the entire known cast for me). As for the various parts of the mini series part 1 lasts 1 hour and 38 minutes, part 2 lasts 1 hour 35 minutes (and is subtitled Maudib so they couldn't even spell it right) and part 3 (subtitled The Prophet) lasts for 1 hour 36 minutes rounding out ...

Review of Dune (Box Set) (DVD)

Enterprise A (Quantum) Leap back in time

Advantages: Tidy futuristic box set that contains all the season box sets
Disadvantages: Only four seasons that have already been released separately

...be plot variations from other star terk series but I still liked the way they were remade. I like that there is actually a big story line in the form of the Xindi war which kept reminding me of Quantum leap whenever Sam beckett oops I mean Cpt Archer jumps around time trying to set things right, all the main characters get there own little story even Porthos the dog takes a very small lead roll, I'm glad to say its not just one unrelated story line ...
...If you're a huge Star Trek Fan then your desire to have the complete Enterprise collection will be satisfied with this box set, If you like Enterprise for the occasional episode its probably not worth paying for the fancy box, just buy the seasons separately for a much cheaper price. Buying this complete series might of been worth the money if there was some films made relating to the series so they could of included them in this already released ...

Advantages: Visually unique mix of art film and sci-fi movie - half Matrix half Eastern European masterpiece and yet better than most of either
