Season 3 of TNG - Where it really kicked off

Advantages: Really stepping up from season 2 will great episodes
Disadvantages: Not too many special features included

...think that season 3 of Star Trek The Next Generation is where the show really came into its own and started to cast off the shadow left by the original series. Season 3 has some terrific science fiction stories told with classic episodes like "Yesterday's Enterprise", "The Defector", "Best Of Both Worlds Part I" and "Sarek" which sees Mark Lenard return as Spocks father. Advantages: The 'Next Generation' crew all return
Disadvantages: Poor storyline
