FANTASTIC! Advantages: Brilliant stories, fantastic acting. Disadvantages: Cutdown confidentials instead of full episode The first series of Doctor Who I saw was series 4. I thought it was brilliant and instantly loved it so obviously wanted to watch the rest of the series to see what other amazing stories there were. To describe the First SEries in one word I would have to say it was FANTASTIC! Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor is brilliant and Billie Piper as his companion Rose means there's lots of laughs along the way too. In the first episode ROSE the Doctor ... ...life and travel with the Doctor in his TARDIS. In the second episode THE END OF THE WORLD they travel to platform one to see the end of Earth. There are loads of different aliens on board and some robot spiders which are trying to destroy the ship they are on and kill everyone. In the third episode THE UNQUIET DEAD the Doctor takes Rose to Cardiff in 1869 by mistake and they meet Charles Dickens. Lost In Space. What WERE they on?! Advantages: Must have for all fans Disadvantages: Even more weird than I remembered Lost in Space Series Three. Gosh. How time flies. Was it really all those years ago when in 1997(!) the Robinson family, captain Don West and their robot were put off course by the meddling booby Dr Smith, a treacherous spy paid to sabotage the ship. The cast list was as follows: Prof. John Robinson (Guy Williams) Maureen Robinson (June Lockhart) Captain Don West (Mark Goddard) Judy Robinson (Marta Kristen) Will Robinson (Billy Mumy) Penny Robinson ... ...and the voice of the robot was provided by Dick Tufeld. Look into the future what do you see? Advantages: Easy watching Disadvantages: Can be over acted ...provides a great insight to the life of a teenager in a world full of chaos and destruction. It made me think if this ever happened in our somewhat war riddlede world how the children from todays society would cope. I for one would think that there would be a lot more violence than is portrayed in this first series. It is for easy viewing and has addictive yet predictable plot lines. With excellent make-up and costumes this programme is very visually ... ...life is now like after the deadly virus kills all of the adult population. The city is now in utter chaos as the kids now battle for control of their new world. It also provides excellent insight to the stuggle of setting up a new society of rules and order.
