I heard and read so many different reviews on Scary Movie That it made me want to watch it even more to cast my view on it.
To begin, I am a fan of the horror/teen slasher films of the nineties and thoroughly enjoyed watching the Scream triology and the two I Know films. I received this film on region 1 DVD a couple of weeks ago and viewed it not knowing really what to expect.
Scary Movie is about a group of teenagers being stalked for a crime they commited a year ago. The stalker wears a distinctively looking white mask and has a hook on his right hand. The stalker takes his victims out one by one in very recognisable scenarios
I had read that if you had seen the trailer to this film there was no real point in watching the whole entire movie as you had already seen the funniest and best moments in the film. I felt that this was true to a certain extent but i would still thoroughly recommend Scary movie to anyone who has seen a few of the slasher films it rips it out of, if not then you will not find it as enjoyable as you should.
