ugly head and delivers the outrageously hilarious extended and unsanitized version, never before seen in cinemas. It's no-holds-barred as this laugh-packed hit spoofs Hollywood's most frightening blockbusters... and stars Anna Faris (Scary Movie 1-3, Lost In Translation), Regina Hall (Scary Movie 1-3, Malibu's Most Wanted) and Craig Bierko (Cinderella Man) with uproariously funny cameo appearances by Carmen Electra, Michael Madsen and Leslie Nielsen! Remember, no grudge is strong enough, no village is safe enough, no saw is sharp enough to keep these laughs from killing their intended victims!

the second and third films in the series adopted. So there's a smattering of funny jokes to stick in the trailer, recreations of big scenes from other popular movies, and Anna Faris boldly trying to hold the whole enterprise together.Scary Movie 4is thus a spectacularly easy movie to assess. Forget the inspired and downright hilarious original, and instead look to its sequels. Did you find them laugh-fests? Did you think they were entertaining? And did you actuallylikethem? If so,Scary Movie 4isn't going to disappoint either. But it will let down pretty much everyone else. It's not that its terrible. It's a passable way to spend a brain-dead hour and a half. It's just such a waste. There are some great gags to be made at the expense ofSaw,War Of The Worlds,Brokeback MountainandMillion Dollar Baby(the film's main targets), butScary Movie 4just doesn't make them. Instead, it too often relies on a stilted pratfall, someone smacking their head, or some other bumbling sequence that doesn't work as well as it should. Granted, there are laughs, but nowhere near the number that the original film delivered.Which, as mentioned earlier, makes this an easy film to judge. There's a strong chance you already know whetherScary Movie 4is your bag or not, and thus the only recommendation here is to go with your gut feeling. You're unlikely to go wrong. The DVD:A superb two disc set, with the extra features really compensating for some of the fallibilities of the main feature. There's bountiful behind the scenes material, amusing sequences that didn't make the final cut, and obligatory bloopers too. --Simon Brew

WHY IS IT SCARY? One bit that is scary is that when they were chained up at the begining and they were sawing of there feet and blood started coming out, it was minging.CHARACTERS Cindy Campbell- she is the lady that is a bit dopey and she goes with the man and helps him also she helps other people as I have said. Brenda Meeks-she is a cool character but she is a bit dopey too but still is very funny and even more funny lol. Tom Ryan-he is the father of two that is stuck in the city with the Tripods and other people. Japanese Ghost Boy- He is the boy that died ages ago at a boxing match as this boxer was a freak and he is a ghost that hides in the house. There is many more including the scary characters.
The movie is brilliant and very good its one of my favorite DVD ever. its also an enjoyable film , but there is bad language(swearing).
They try and save the world from all them horrible tripods destroying the world, they trap people up in this cage thing and then they try and get out. im not gonna tell anymore, I don't want to give the DVD away, for people who haven't seen it before.

TRIPODS The tripods are detroying everything and everyone in there city, everyone is hepling eachother to make things rite and back to how they were, the tripods are mean and they are silver.
OPION
My opion is that this film I a wicked film and suitable for anyone over the age of 15 to watch this film as strong language and could be scary for little one's, the DVD is very good as there is loads of characters and there funny as I have said . Some bits are more funny than other bits you watch, but that don't make a difference, a film is a film but this one is so cool, if you have not got it check it out its really cool.
...had to purchase the DVD. Scary Movie 4 is rawer and more hilarious than any of the previous ones, and is definitely a must see. This one makes parodies of "War of the Worlds", "The Grudge", "The Village" and "Saw". There is even a parody of Brokeback Mountain in the first part of the movie that was so raw and hilarious, I'm still laughing about it. Cindy (Ana Faris) is back again, and this time she finds out the house she is hired to work in as caretaker ... ...which is next door to the house of the loser Tom Ryan who is being visited by his children Rachel and Robbie. Alien tripods invade the earth and Cindy's friend Brenda is back and they both try to find the ghost boy's father in the village and then they all save the world from destruction by aliens.

No spoof is left unturned in director and parody-meister David Zucker's SCARY MOVIE 4, the latest instalment in the popular horror-cum-humour series. Among several returnees from previous films, Anna Faris reprises her role as Cindy Campbell, the eternally unlucky and hilariously clumsy heroine. In a send-up of 2004's THE GRUDGE, Campbell is assigned as full-time nurse to a mysterious old lady in a house haunted by the ghost of a small boy. In a takeoff of 2005's WAR OF THE WORLDS, next door lives Tom Ryan (Craig Bierko), a divorced dock worker somewhat in charge of his two kids, who is called into action as Alien TriPods (remove the Tr for a hint at the inspiration for their invention) seek to destroy Earth. The two meet and quickly fall in love. Joined by Cindy's ever-present sidekick, the flirtatious Brenda Meeks (Regina Hall), the protagonists must save the planet from aliens and solve the mystery of the ghostly boy. One of the stops along the way includes a sharp lampooning of THE VILLAGE, complete with appearances from SCARY MOVIE veterans Carmen Electra and Chris Elliot, and other cinematic spoofs, including BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, MILLION DOLLAR BABY, and SAW. The satirical wit extends beyond the movies, containing personal jabs both self-inflicted (Charlie Sheen, Shaquille O'Neal, and Dr. Phil) and not (Mike Tyson, Michael Jackson, and George W. Bush). Ultimately, there is more than enough funniness to sate the SCARY MOVIE or slapstick comedy fan's appetite.
