It isn't a difficult choice to award these three excellent films with the 5 star rating they deserve. Afterall, these 3 films set the standard for the genre for years to come. The gangster genre at his very best is the question, Scarface, Carlito's Way and Casino is the definitive answer. Scarface is the superbly charismatic Pacino at his superbly charismatic best. Scarface will leave you wanting more, and Carlito's Way fails to disappoint, helped by a terrific script and an all round terrific acting cast, Carlito's Way will have you dropping your jaw at the fantastic screen presense of Pacino. Casino will live forever as a classic, epical look at Gangster life in Vegas. The somewhat cliche'd script at times is made up for by intense charisma from each character and all round acting ability. After watching these 3 movies, the gangster genre will never look the same again. In a nutshell, a must buy.
