I was very excited about seeing this movie and had high expectations as i had heard an incredible ammount of hype over it. I can't say i was dissapointed because i did enjoy the movie a lot...it was different but yeah, it's not the best horror movie.
It is about two guys who wake up in a dirty bathroom chained to the pipes. They have no idea why they are here or how and have no idea who each other are. Inbetween them on the bathroom floor lays a dead body in a pool of blood with a gun in it's hand. As time goes by, both men slowly begin to uncover the mystery which leads to a devastating and horrific conclusion with a twist that you won't see coming!
The exciting parts of the movie are the scenes about Jigsaw's (the films bad guy) traps. They are visually amazing and how they came up wth this stuff is brilliant.
My only hack with the film is that it becomes slow around about the middle and the bad acting.I began to lose interest in what was happening but i sat through and was glad i did because the ending is well worth the wait. It is definately better than a lot of horror movies in the last few years so if you haven't seen this one already, order your copy now. Then prepare yourself for Saw 2!

They're bringing out Saw 3 now. I haven't seen any of them, because I'm a bit squeamish, but the general ideas seem really good. Heck, it sure makes me hate the American police forces!

Advantages: Gore and horror with gripping suspense throughout, a movie full to the brim of twists and turns. Very compelling. Disadvantages: Being pedantic the acting isn't the greatest. Nothing outstanding, but its a horror movie and you watch it for the gore.
