This film starts in a dingey room with two men chained to opposite ends, each wondering why the other is where they are. Then the plot begins to kick in - It's a game that they have to play to see who is the strongest psychologically.
Over the course of the film the lead characters begin to learn about why they are in the predicament in which they find themselves. The person holding them informs them that unless they escape, there will be certain consequences. A tape recording, pictures and objects found within the room all help them put two and two together.
Pushed to breaking point who knows what lengths a person will go to in order to survive or to save others. Manipulation of the mind and situation is the order of the day and the twists won't disappoint you.
Even without any really big name actors to back it up, this film has good performances, and the suspense builds throughout. It's not too long, and the plot keeps you on the edge of your seat so don't worry about being entertained.
Some say this film is gruesome but I don't agree. The film isn't about what happens but what leads up to it , so give this one a watch with the lights on. And smile, it really isn't that bad.
I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" in the top right of the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
