Advantages: Initially compelling, creepy Disadvantages: All much of a muchness
Adam wakes up to find himself submerged in a bath full of water. Horrified, and unaware of what is happening, he leaps out, to find himself chained to the wall of what appears to be the public toilet from hell with no way out. Then he realises that in the middle of a room is a dead man with his brains bashed out. And on the other side of the room is another man - Dr Lawrence Gordon - also chained up and also at a loss to know why. Then they find ... ...realises they have been captured by a serial killer who goes by the name of Jigsaw. If they follow the instructions, they may survive. Then again, they might not. Can they find a way to get out? And will the police be of any help?
Leigh Whannell, an Australian actor I have not heard of before, plays Adam. He also helped write the screenplay along with director James Wan. I think he does a really good job as Adam; at least, I never once doubted that ...

Advantages: MAKES YOU CRINGE Disadvantages: NOT SCARY
...beats all of the other saw films hands down.
I will say that it took me two times of watching the movie to completley get it.
I feel that the movie is not so much scary but has such a cringe factor which is what makes it so brilliant.
The worst bt of the film for me is when the girl has to cut open her dead boyfriend to remove a key to save herself!
Only he isnt dead so she kills him.
The whole film was really great once i understood what was ...

Advantages: Amazing Cast, Great Plot Disadvantages: Odd Ending
...Rat Race is first of all one of the greatest films (in my opinion) to come out in the last few years. I never went to the cinema to see it but saw the DVD advertised in the local TESCO so bought it.
I must admit the only reason I got it was because it had Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) and Seth Green (Austin Powers) on the cover so must be slightly comedic. I watched it straight away and was greatly surprised at what I saw. This is one of the funniest and excentric movies ever and cannot fail to please. As the story moves on, stranger and stranger things happen as ... well I won't ruin it!!!
I highly recommend purchasing the DVD of this film, if only for the outakes on the disc which are brilliant....

Advantages: Funny, some great extras Disadvantages: None that I could see
...A friend asked me the other day if I had heard of The Mighty Boosh, I had not and so was curious. Saw the dvd at a resonable price and bought a copy.
I am now obsessed with the show, it is absolutly fantastic, very funny! Ideal student viewing :)
The wacky stories and journeys Howard and Vince go on just work so well and had me in stitches. They are just so random you can't help but love it!
It's a show which does not take itself to seriously and is just great fun to enjoy.
The music is also fantastic! The songs are as memorable as the crazy characters! One of the best features besides Howards moustache and Vince's hair.
If you are a fan of oddball comedys like the League of Gentleman and Dark Place you will love The Mighty Boosh!!...

Advantages: Good live set Disadvantages: Poor quality recording
...This was the first Morrissey DVD I bought. I'd only recently discovered him with his 2004 album, and I saw this DVD in a sale.
I put it on and was somewhat shocked to see such a warm crowd, the interaction was immeasurable between Moz and his audience. Now having experience of Morrissey gigs, I can see how these earlier shows are treasured by his fans. This DVD really ephasises the devotion of his followers.
Technically, the quality is very low compared to modern standards, both of audio and visual footage. It is muffled and fuzzy sounding.
Containing a range of his hits, it's a great collection of songs we may possibly never hear live again. Knowing Moz, this is almost certain to be the case.
There are no extras, just the coverage of the gig, but what a gig it is!!! The stage invasion is like nothing you could imagine these days....
