Saw 3 is the second sequel in this brilliant horror series, it was released in late 2006 a year after Saw 2. This is by far the most inventive film & also looks like the end of the film franchise as Jigsaw is on his death bed & eventually dies but of course is sheer Jigsaw fashion the games don't stop there.

This film follows on from Amanda's 'friendship' with Jigsaw in her helping him with his sick games & also helping him survive his Cancer. Jigsaw is on his death bed & will not survive with just the help of Amanda alone & so realise that they need professional help but no doctor in their right mind will want to help Jigsaw & of course if the police find out where he is he will be immediately captured. So that's where another one of jigsaw's games come in. Him & Amanda capture a top surgeon & put a device on her head similar to the one Amanda had on in the first film. There is a difference though as this trap is someone connected to Jigsaw's heart monitor & if his heart stops the device will snap instantly killing the young doctor. The surgeons husband also becomes involved in Jigsaw's game as Jigsaw likes to do his research on his victims & discovers that The young couple had a son who was killed in a hit & run accident. The killer who was only a young man only got 6 months in prison which did not do justice to the man who took their young son away from them. The boys father has never quite got over this & has always said that he would love to get his hands on the man who killed his son. This is what his test is all about. He has to go through people caught in Jigsaw's traps who were related to the hit & run one by one with the option of forgiving them & setting them free from the trap or deciding to let them die. Forgiving them gets him one step closer to the man who killed his son. He gets through all these tests & eventually gets to the man who took his beloved son away. Will he do the right thing & help him or will he let him die. The only catch is that in order to set the man free the father has to take a bullet for him. After completing all his tests he sets off to find Jigsaw who unbeknown to him has his wife captured in a deadly trap. Will he listen to his wife & let Jigsaw live for her sake or will he kill Jigsaw who has captured his daughter, of course he doesn't know that if Jigsaw's heart stops his wife is instantly killed.

This is another great film from the Saw franchise which like the others holds your attention brilliantly & has a lot of little twists throughout the film. The directors of these films love to keep you guessing & unlike some films which can be predictable this is the complete opposite. This film is as shocking as the rest of them.
