The more gory of the Saw anthology to date (yet to see Saw IV) if you like blood and guts and sadistic killing machines then this is one to watch. The plot has started to run thin however, nowhere near as gripping as the first film. All in all worth watching.
The best thing i think about the film is the fact that it does link in to the other previous installments, tying up loose ends here and there and also offering an explanation as to how the events were prepared and thought up.
The addition of the quite horrific masks was also a welcoming feature in my eyes, although some people would see it differently. Obviously the desired effect of the masks would be to scare the audience and therefore it would have been achieved.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
