This is a very pleasant film. Sure, it starts off with a well used scenario, a retired lady left bankrupt by her ambitious dead husband. Facing the loss of all she has ever known, homelessness looks a likely possibility. Something has to be done and the corrisponding hour leaves you laughing and with a grin on your face. The slightly weak plot is reinforced by the great acting you expect from Brenda Blethin. This is not a big money, special effect filled movie, it is a good British comedy which has a twist you would not expect especially with the controversial content of the film.

Advantages: This film is very, very funny, and Brenda Blethyn is brilliant. Disadvantages: The farce feels slightly old-fashioned, but that actually makes it more fun in my opinion.
