It's a welcome thing to be able to say that this is a good British film. After the hell that was Circus, we sure needed one.
The fact that the cast is so very good is as relevant to a movie as the quality of the script, and with the old hand Brenda Blethyn in a starring role, and she has excellent support.
The film centers around Grace's problem - her husband has just died and left her with huge financial problems. So when she finds that one of the villagers is growing marijuana, it's only a matter of time before, as a keen gardener, she lends a hand.
This is gentle British humour, in the same was as Saving Ned last year. Inoffensive (apart from the drugs references) and very enjoyable comedy.

Advantages: This film is very, very funny, and Brenda Blethyn is brilliant. Disadvantages: The farce feels slightly old-fashioned, but that actually makes it more fun in my opinion.
