Satan In High Heels (DVD)

Advantages: some amusing scenes, good british cast
Disadvantages: seen it all before

...High Heels and Lowlifes is set in London so obviously it has criminals and crime as it's main plot. However unlike the wave of bad british crime films we've had to endure in the last year this film actually has a good cast and decent laughs. Minnie Driver plays Shannon, a hospital nurse who's burned out in her job. Her american friend is a struggling actress Frances (Mary McCormack). One night they overhear a gang robbing a bank thanks to a modern artist boyfriend and one totally inept young criminal. Instead of turning a blind eye they try to blackmail the robbers into getting some of the big loot that has been stolen. Naturally things don't go to plan and soon they find themsleves up against an old pro criminal and have two detectives on their tale. Advantages: Average college movie with interesting themes
Disadvantages: Little bit too much of a guy movie

...Generally this film is a rubbish movie. 3 boys are too sexist and chauvinist, they are accused of theft and end up getting thrown out their dorm so they decide to dress as girls so they can live in the female sorority house and get to stay in school. Along the way they discover how badly men really treat females and want to change their ways to atone for the way they previously lived and the male species in general. You know they are going to find the real thief and learn their lesson along the way. A few things - touch football, rules? Are they the same as gridiron, because the ref calling that game didn't know his job. Lots of personal fouls, half the pretty girls would have been off the field in minutes. Head Over Heels has a BBFC Rating of 12 because of some mild violence and sex scenes and it has a run time of approximately 86 minutes. Head Over Heels portrays the story of Amanda Pierce who is single, after breaking up with her ling term boyfriend she moves into a luxury apartment with 4 super models who are a little on the "blonde" side. Amanda builds up quite a strong relationship with the 4 models and they become quite close friends who help one another.
