Advantages: Brilliant acting, comedy, christmas! Disadvantages: I would have love to see more christmas songs
...Albright
Robyn Lively - Claire Dreyer
Max Morrow - Zak Dreyer
Tommy Davidson - Max
The characters performances were excellent. Zak Dreyer who plays the child of Claire Dreyer was only around 6 in this film, and played it brilliantly. He was one of the main actors and the best.
This film contained a lot of special effects, the flying through the air of Santa, the snow falling and truly magical and fantasy scenes. They were so realistic that you really do start to think that Santa could be real! Its such a heart warming family film and so magnificent I would watch it again after again.
The soundtrack of what they used blended brilliantly in the film. Magical music and Christmas themed songs. They weren't a lot of songs in the film, it was more special effect sounds for when Santa fell out of the sky, and when the snow fell. I think it could...

...The Elf is a great film which was in the cinemas this time last year and has just been released on DVD/Video in time for Christmas.
Starring Will Ferrell as Buddy, the film is about a baby (Buddy) who escapes from his cot in an orphanage and crawls into Santa's sack whilst Santa is stocking up on mince pies and delivering toys.
Santa doesn't realise that he has Buddy on board until he gets home to Lapland where Buddy appears before Santa and all the other elves.
The decision is made to keep Buddy and be brought up by Papa Elf (Bob Newhart) who treats him as a son which is no easy task as he's obviously a lot taller being human! As Buddy is so much bigger than your average elf, he has problems as a toymaker and eventually discovers the truth when overhearing a conversation between some of the other elves. Papa Elf spills the beans...

...I was given this for Christmas as it was on my wish list. I knew it wouldn't be a nice story but wanted to see it anyway.
Billy Bob Thornton plays the Bad Santawho gets jobs in large department stores over Christmas with his little Elf friend who is played by Tony Cox. He doeesn't want to be there but it pays for the vodka! Santa is always drunk and really couldnt care less what the children want. He sits in his chair swearing at the children and asking what they want whilst taking crafty glugs of vodka when he can. His Elf friend tries to keep it all together and somehow gets away with it.
At the end of the season Santa and his Elf manage to stay in the store when it's all been locked up, disarm the alarm and rob the safe together with any items the Elf's wife has demanded on her shopping list.
One little boy who has...

...Ok, yes i m aware that this is the second review i've done on a christmas film in two days, and no i'm not one of those fruitcakes that puts my tree up in september until march................... ANYWAY!!
I want to review The santa claus brothers, dvd. My daughter received this disc as part of her christmas box last year.
Having never heard of the film before then, i confess it took me two months to even unwrap it and another momth to even watch it!!
The story -
Mel, Darryl and Roy are Santas sons and are all 150 years old (in santa years!!) The boys have a lot of growing uo to do, both in maturity and waist lines!!! (two of them are extremely thin!!)
The time has come for santa to decide who is going to take over the reins of the big sleigh, buts its becoming clear to him that the triplets are more interested in monkeying around than...

...to America to sort his son out and of course find a wife. This is the good part. They make a toy copy of Santawho will stay at the north pole and look after business ( or so they think...)
Anyway now that Santa is back in America he finds his son is acting up and he firtsly meets carol newman ( his love interest. now one thing leads to another and they end up taking a romantic sleigh reide to the high school party. After this you know whats coming the two of them become really close and then Santa tells Carol that he really is Santa and of course she throws him out and doesn't believe him.
While all this is going on the toy Santa has taken over the north pole with toy soldiers and is giving every kid in the world a lump of coal. Hence the return of the real Santa.
I would go on and tell you the ending but I though it might spoil this a bit...
