The scenery is breathtaking and Prince Edward Island is somewhere I have always wanted to visit after watching these DVD's over and over again. The costumes are also amazing, especially Anne's puffed sleeve ball dress that Matthew buys for her (a touching moment in the DVD's)
A DVD that you will watch over and over again and will make you fall in love with Anne. This box set includes 3 discs. Anne of Green Gables the beginning, Anne of Green Gables the sequel and Anne of Green Gables the continuing story. The DVD box set was released in January 2006, I had been waiting for it to come out for years as I still had it in the Cassette format.
In HMV they have it on sale for £49.99....
