Advantages: Great Samurai action, Part of Japanese History, the end of the samurai era Disadvantages: can get confusing at points
...A samurai Movie set in edo Japan, during the Meiji Revolution, based upon the famed and respected Shinsengumi in Kyoto, a blood thristy assasination group also known as the Mibu wolves, who worked under the Shogun to protect Japan from being placed un Imperial rule by the revolutionist. Advantages: Samurai vs Ninja combat at its most gruesome! Disadvantages: May be too gory for some people.
...In the second installment of the Lone Wolf And Cub series of films, the masterless Samurai Ogami Itto, once the Shogunate's Official Executioner, and his infant son Diagoro, must survive the constant threat of pursuing ninjas under the command of the evil Lord Retsudo. Ogami accepts a mission from a local clan chamberlain - the mission being to assassinate a traitor who is about to sell invaluable information to Lord Retsudo's Yagyu Clan. However, Ogami's task will not be easy, as the traitor is being escorted by the three Hidari brothers - brutal and highly skilled warriors who are also known as the 'Gods Of Death'.
Set in feudal Japan, this film displays excellently choreographed fight scenes, and there are plenty of them. With stunning scenery and good performances from the Japanese cast, this is a classic samurai movie, though you...

Advantages: Jay Hernandez (cute), good acting, interesting story line Disadvantages: pure chick flick not for the guys
...This film is about teenage rebellion and how some parents deal with it and how some parents can. In the story for instance the parent makes decisions for the child and just merely chooses to ignore her as well. It's also about the boy meets girl and they fall in love! Boy rescues girl from the big black hole that shes dug for herself, and they live happily ever after. The most cringe worthy moment was when Dunst and Hernandez where getting down to business and her father is in the back garden! Obviously there is something very wrong with that, cause no one wants to shag there boyfriend while there dad is in the next room.
All in all its a good film and you can't really take anything away from it. The story line does take long to develop but when it does get started the whole film is a breeze and there will be moments where you...
