Saiyuki Reload, another addition or play off from the "journey to the west" and previous Saiyuki episodes. Its a great tale about a buddist priest and group of 3 youkai (demons) that travel to india to save the world from the terriable minus wave that makes all the (would be peacefull) youkai go crazy.
Saiyuki Reload is a great add to the Saiyuki pile. For those who watch the japanese version, I will say you'll not be dissapointed because all the voice actors from the previous Saiyuki's are the same, but for those who watch the english version, the voice actors are ALOT better than the previous. Mainly because Sanzo (priest) doesnt sound like a depressed teenager anymore.
All in all you have to watch the episodes in full, including the little parts at the end of each episode called "urasai" which are sooo funny they'll keep you laughing till the next one.
Get Saiyuki Reload if you like the Saiyuki story. Trust me, you will most likely enjoy it. I know I did and I knew little about the story itself. If you dont like never ending storys with no real ending then this is not for you. But then again if you like the idea of the possibilty of a continuation then I guess thats good. Overall though it has some great artwork, bundles of laughs (seriously), and an awesome storyline.
Dont forget to look at Saiyuki Gunlock after Saiyuki Reload!

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
