Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End DVD

Advantages: Action and adventure, great scenes, Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp
Disadvantages: A bit long

Pirates of the Caribbean at World end is the third movie in the Pirates trilogy. It follows the crew of the Black Pearl (the Pirate ship) rescuing Jack Sparrow from Davy Jones' locker and then preparing to fight the East Indian Trading Company who are intent on extinguishing piracy. I'm not going to spoil the rest of the plot/movie for you as I believe you should see it for yourself so I will just now review the rest of the DVD and what I thought of the film/films. At the box office it was actually the most successful film of 2007 and is the second most successful film in the series. I think even if action and adventure films aren't for you (they aren't my most favourite) this would still be a film you like as it is very funny in places, the sets are brilliant and the action really is very well choreographed. Pretty Crap World - REVISITED

Advantages: Quick if you don't mind being ripped off and lied to
Disadvantages: Lying and inept salespeople, inflated prices, dodgy service

***Original review is at the bottom*** I originally slated PC World in my first review of them, but following the need for a new laptop I decided to see what they had on offer. Has Ayan lost his mind? Has all his technical savvy been abducted by aliens? Is he succumbing to the bright lights and glossy fascias of hghstreet stores? Well the answer to all three of the above is a firm NO, but at the end of the day it came down to basic economics. What I use a latop for is mainly surfing the net while I'm out and about, checking e-mail and occasionally just breaking the boredom if travelling. In all reality it's an oversized and gorified filiofax. Having said that I also tend to use it for a bit of intensive stuff if I want to use my main PCs. Review of PC World (Shop)

Worlds Apart from Atkins

Advantages: Very easy system, lots of food
Disadvantages: Sins system is dependent on literature/web

OK, well everyone who suffered my week of Atkins with me will be pleased to know that I have found light at the end of what seemed at the time to be a very long tunnel! (Those who haven't and wish to extend their sympathies can have a read of my review on Atkins, where it is all described in glorious ... or gory-ous detail!) This light comes in the form of Slimming World, which I joined a few weeks ago and am frankly, happy to follow forever because this is the easiest diet I have ever done!
