Plot Outline
Jackie Chan as Inspector Lee, a Hong Kong Detective who helps find millions of dollars worth of stolen Chinese artifacts from Crime Lord Juntao. Seeking revenge, Juntao kidnaps the eleven year old daughter of the Chinese consul when he moves to America. Chan is sent as a diplomatic advisor and finds himself paired up with Chris Tucker as Detective James Carter - a man who works alone, and doesn't want a partner.

I purchased Rush Hour on DVD in August 2001 and since i first watche it and burst out laughing at the two of them (Jackie & Chris) arguing. They are so hilarious.
The one part of the DVD I was not impressed with was that there were no subtitles for the foreign parts on my DVD, like when Consul.
Then since I saw Rush Hour 2 being advertised for the cinemas, I decided straight away to buy that too when it is released on DVD which will be in December 2001.
So, the two funniest guys are back for take 2 of their greatest film. Will it be another hit with me, I hope so...

I think you should have mentioned a bit about Jackie Chan's acrobatics as this is often what people want to see from him in a film. And also a touch more info on the plot, pace, look and so on. I do like your listing of global ratings but I didn't get much insight to your personal thoughts, other than that you liked it. I liked it too, but don't expect such good things from Rush Hour II (I thought that was duff) ;') Fx
