Rush Hour
This multi award-winning puzzle - and its inventor Nob Yoshigahara - have picked-up no ... more
fewer than 21 gongs in the past decade; a surefire testament to its longevity, durability and worldwide appeal. The objective sounds easy in theory. Drive your red car out of the playing grid and escape to freedom. But in order to so, you'll first need to set up the traffic on a game grid to match one of 40 playing cards, then shift all the blocking cars and trucks out of your way. This is more easily said than done, as a clear and transparent set of rules then come into play. To proceed, one simply needs to move one vehicle at a time, in a long sequence of moves designed to free the red car from the logjam and out of the parking lot. All of which will have one scratching one's noggin- and driving one to the web for a solution. Brilliantly infuriating - and infuriatingly brilliant.

Advantages: Great Film, great laugh! Disadvantages: Hmmmm...none as yet..
..."The fastest hands in the East meet the biggest mouth in the West"
A couple of friends and I went out last weekend to see RushHour 2, having seen RushHour in the cinemas and thoroughly enjoyed it, we decided to see RushHour 2 which was a great film too.
Anyway, I decided to revisit the first film in its DVD form. Ahhh I bet you thought I was going to about RushHour 2 in the wrong category eh? This is my first review and I decided to look around the site reviewing others before I wrote my first review, and I saw that reviews in the wrong catergory are not favoured by the powers that be the ciao community. Anyway back to the DVD.
I am a big fan of Jackie Chan movies, I think his stunt work is incredible and his acrobatic abilities are great though his acting is questionable. Chris Tucker is also a great charcter and the high...

Advantages: Funny and fab action Disadvantages: Nothing at all
..., you'll be entertained all the way through it. The fight scenes are outstanding to watch and the humour has you in stitches sometimes! Now I know why this film was such a massive hit and why they have done a sequel! I really need to go see the second one now!
If you haven't already seen RushHour, then I highly suggest that you do! It's worth a watch and will entertain you highly! You can buy and rent the film on both VHS and DVD. The film is also on digital movie channels on a regular basis. Thanks and cheers. ~M~...

Advantages: Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker Disadvantages: Not everyones comical taste (my dad hates it)
...but Brett Ratner has managed to get it to work, they are brilliant together. As I mentioned before I had never seen any films with either of the leads in but since seeing RushHour I have made an effort to see as many of them as possible.
A superb performance from Jackie Chan, which helped him brake the elusive American market, as he shows he has both a comic and serious side in this film. He choreographed all the Martial Art scenes himself and also does all his own stunts.
As for Chris Tucker he is the exact opposite of Jackie Chan. The motor mouth, over the top style will make him a star and is exactly what is required opposite the serious side of Chan.
