Advantages: Value for money, a Must have for fans Disadvantages: ...
...A lot of people would agree, Dream Theater is the best Progressive Rock/Metal act out there at the moment, and have been since the 80's. A must have for Dream Theater fans. A 2 disc masterpiece.
The first disc contains the 3hour long live show, and the second contains 70min of bonus material. The live show contains mostly tracks from 'Train of thought', 'Six degrees of inner turbulence' and 'Metropolis'. One or two tracks from older albums.
They also do the whole instrumedley thing, where they incorporate a bunch of songs into one long instrumental. This can be viewed with a selection of camera angles that focuses on one instrument at a time. (Only on Disc 2)
The quality of the show and how it was recorded is amazing. These guys know what they're doing....

Advantages: Includes a wide range of Dream Theater's songs Disadvantages: Doesn't have any songs from Octavarium
...This awsome Dvd was filmed in 2004 at the Budokan in Tokyo. It contains 18 songs spanning their whole back catalogue and is 172 minutes of mind blowing music. It starts with a thunderous rendition of 'As I Am' , which in turn leads into the amazing 'This Dying Soul'. The music continues from there with an ecclectic mix of slower melodic songs and heavier hard rocking ones. It climaxes with the 15 minute epic that is 'In The Name Of God'. As far as extras are concerned it is slightly disappointing with only a few short documentaries and a multiangle bonus for 'Instrumedly'. The best part of the extras is the 'Mike Portnoy Drum Solo' which is well worth watching. Extras aside this is an absoloutly brilliant Dvd which is well worth buying....

...Looking for something for the kids? I found this on ebay for £3.99 with £2 postage and packaging from retrowarez-promotions. My nephew loved watching it and I am now being cursed by my sister in law because she has had to watch it so many times.
